This is not a mowing or general landscaping position. Professional lawn care is a skilled trade requiring dedication, precision, and a willingness to learn how to do things right. You will apply lawn care products daily and eventually manage an assigned customer route throughout Northern Indiana.
Learn turfgrass health, fertilizer and weed-control applications, insect and disease identification, pesticide safety, and equipment calibration.
Apply products accurately, follow proven processes, care for your equipment, and document the work correctly.
Show up prepared, communicate respectfully, take responsibility, protect customer property, and represent Turf Tenders well.
Follow a daily route, inspect lawns, complete applications, and help customers understand what their lawn needs.

We provide thorough training, clear expectations, and the tools needed to succeed. Higher earnings follow demonstrated skill, judgment, quality, and the ability to manage a route independently.
Starting pay is based on experience, qualifications, licensing, driving history, mechanical ability, and related work skills. Train alongside experienced team members in safe equipment operation, accurate applications, product labels, turf-problem identification, service documentation, and customer care.
Technicians who demonstrate safe, professional independent route management can advance to this range and earn daily production bonuses up to $50–$75. Quality, rate accuracy, safety, documentation, customer service, equipment care, attendance, and reliability remain part of bonus eligibility.
Production never excuses poor work. Speed does not override application quality, accurate rates, safety, customer care, or complete documentation.
This role combines turf knowledge, precise product applications, specialized equipment, customer communication, and independent route management.
Our technicians work independently at customers’ homes and are trusted with company vehicles, professional equipment, treatment products, and customer property. Technical skills can be developed. Character, reliability, and work ethic must already be present.
Helpful, not required: pesticide licensing; turf, agriculture, landscaping, pest-control, delivery, route-service, truck-and-trailer, mechanical, equipment, or other outdoor work experience. We are prepared to train the right person.
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m. Occasional overtime or weekend work may be required when weather or seasonal workload affects the route schedule.
